Master of Art in Sports Ethics and Integrity (MAiSI) sponsored by Olympic Solidarity

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) cordially invites former Olympians in Hong Kong who meet the requirements to apply for the new Master of Art in Sports Ethics and Integrity (MAiSI) programme to be sponsored by Olympic Solidarity – Athlete Career Transition Programme.  Jointly collaborated by 6 renowned universities specialised in sport policies, governance and ethics, the MAiSI programme offers students a valuable opportunity to study in different universities (please refer to the brochure for details).

In support of this idea, through the Olympic Solidarity “Athlete Career Transition (ACT)” programme available to all NOCs, the IOC would like to offer the possibility to 6 former Olympians to participate in this two-year master’s degree (Sep 2019 – Aug 2022). Olympic Solidarity will cover the tuition fees, accommodation, travel fees and student allowance for the entire duration of the studies for the 6 selected candidates.

Candidate requirements:

  • Former Olympian

  • Holds at least a Bachelor Degree

  • Attained English Language Certificate (i.e. IELTS: score 6.5 or above; Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency or TOEFL test of a total score of 90 minimum)

  • Have strong commitment to complete the master degree course

Athletes who are interested in applying for this programme should bring the original copies of the completed application form, verification letter on sports achievements issued by respective NSA, bachelor degree, English language certificate and passport to HKACEP Office on or before 6pm, 12 April 2019 (Friday) and late submission will not be considered.

Note:  No need to complete the budget section of the form because all financial arrangements will be made directly with the MAiSI.
