HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of MICE operations initiatives to reinforce Hong Kong’s positioning as a premier MICE destination.
  • Drive end-to-end management of hospitality programmes for event organisers, trade partners and in-town MICE groups, to enhance bid competitiveness and elevate MICE visitors experience
  • Identify and recommend MICE venues, products, and experiences. Develop new offerings, enhance and repackage existing MICE products to cater to the needs of specific segments, such as Muslim MICE groups.
  • Plan and implement effective familiarisation programs and study missions to effectively showcase Hong Kong’s strengthens as a premier MICE destination.
  • Organise and coordinate both overseas and local trade promotion events to promote Hong Kong as the “World’s Meeting Place” and latest MICE offerings
  • Undertake other duties or special assignments as directed by supervisors
     

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University degree holder in Marketing, Business Administration Tourism Management, or related discipline
  • Over 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in tourism and travel trade industry.
  • In-depth strong knowledge and understanding of tourism and MICE segments, with a passion for the industry and Hong Kong’s MICE product offerings
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of organisation and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is essential
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Mature, self-motivated and able to work independently and perform effectively under pressure
