HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

• Assist in in developing and managing programmes as new initiatives of HKTB’s mega events
• Source, identify, engage and monitor service contractors for smooth operations of the mega events in accordance with the organisation's policy
• Contribute to design operation plan and ensure strict adherence to the work schedule and proper delivery and implementation of events
• Coordinate and maintain communication with government departments, related authorities and venue owners for solicitation of comments and support for planning and execution of HKTB events and campaigns
• Assist in applying and coordinating all necessary licenses and permits for staging the event and ensure its compliance with all applicable HK laws and regulations
• Support in developing operation plans and administer all related process and logistics for staging the agreed event components in accordance with corporate policy
• Gather market information and conduct background research to facilitate effective event planning
• Build, categorise and maintain a systematic database of contractor for future event development
• Perform clerical duties, handle office procurement and administer documentation
• Undertake any other duties/ special assignments as directed by the supervisor
   

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• University graduate preferably in Event Management / Marketing or relevant disciplines
• With 3 years or above solid experience in event marketing, organising and managing events, carnivals and/or promotional campaigns; experience in outdoor/ mass participation events will be an advantage
• A proactive, responsible and self-disciplined team player who is capable of handling unexpected changes/ situations in outdoor event preparation and staging
• Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to deliver quality work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Attention to details and follow strict guideline when dealing with company’s procurement and legal process
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Executive
