Senior Project Assistant (Talented Athletes Direct Admission Scheme) (25260818)

The Academy would like to seek proactive and self-driven applicants for the position of Project Assistant for ‘Talented Athletes Direct Admission Scheme’ (TADAS) of the University.  

Responsibilities:

  • Providing academic support and guidance for the student elite athletes;
  • Maintaining and updating elite athletes’ achievement records;
  • Preparing e-news materials and providing assistance to press conference or other public relations activities for elite athletes sports achievements;
  • Handling all relevant administrative duties relating to the Scheme; and
  • Performing any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or above in physical education, sport, recreation, leisure, or related disciplines;
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in school teaching and/or sports-related administrative work;
  • Have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; 
  • Have good computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; and
  • Be a good team player and able to work independently.

The initial appointment will be offered on a contract of one year commencing in August/September 2026. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and funding availability.

The post will be pgged to the rank of Senior Research Assistant. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
