The Sailing Federation of Hong Kong, China (HKSF) is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Sports Executive (Events).

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to be directly involved in delivering major sailing events and see their work make the news!

Responsibilities:

• Event Funding Applications:
  Prepare funding proposals (primarily MLIE – Major Local International Events) for submission to the LCSD and CSTB, in collaboration with co-organisers.

• Budget Review:
  Assist in budget planning and review as part of the application process.

• Post-Event Reporting:
  Coordinate timely submission of programme and audit reports after each event.

• Major Games Support:
  Provide administrative and secretariat support for major multi-sport games, including the 2025 China National Games and the 2026 Asian Games, handling tasks such as athlete nominations, coordination with coaches, and budget preparation.

• Other Duties:
  Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by the Secretary General.

Requirements:

• Strong organisational and coordination skills

• Ability to work independently and under pressure

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

• Experience in event management or sports administration is an advantage

• Immediate availability is a plus

Appointment Terms:

• Contract-based position (renewable)

• Part-time applicants will also be considered

• Office location: HKSF Office, Causeway Bay
