Duties
- Managing all activities of NSA office including supervision and management of clerical staff. Implementing the policies as laid down by the Management committee.
- Planning, coordinating and developing the Gateball Sport.
- Organizing and executing the programmes approved by the Executive Committee of NSA.
- Assisting in the preparation and implementation of two to four-Year Development Plan of NSA with a view to raising the standards and broadening the participation base of sport discipline.
- Supervising and governing the administrative work of the Community Sports Clubs.
- Promoting development of the sports discipline and arranging media publicity.
- Preparing and submitting annual budgets and providing regular reports on income and expenditure to the Executive Committee.
- Liaise with LCSD and other bodies on funding and other relevant matters.
- Ensuring evaluation and financial reports are prepared and submitted as required to the Executive Committee for all local races held.
- Attending meetings of Executive Committee and providing administrative support.
- Ensuring tidy and orderly keeping of all NSA’s records and publications.
- Ensuring timely reporting and conscientious compliance with terms of LCSD Subvention Agreement.
- To explore additional sources of funding and commercial sponsors for the Association.
- Maintaining proper administration of NSA office.
- Successful applicant is required to work outdoor and during holiday.
- Take Charge of the accounting matters of the Scheme.
Qualification
- An Associate Degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution / a Higher Diploma from a polytechnic university or polytechnic in Hong Kong or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent;
- A minimum of two years’ experience in related field is preferable;
- Independent, willing to work under pressure, and overtime and able to meet tight deadlines;
- Good interpersonal skill and communication skills;
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Good command of spoken, Putonghua is an advantage);
- Proficient in PC applications (MS Excel, Word, and Chinese word processing);
- Holder of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) – Level II Book Keeping & Account is an advantage
Salaries: HK$28,507 per month
