Sports Project Officer

The Sports Association for the Physically Disabled of Hong Kong, China is a multi-sport national sports association with the vision of Enabling Hong Kong Para Athletes to Achieve Sporting Excellence. We are now inviting candidates with strong passion in Para sports development to apply for the position of Sports Project Officer, responsible for organizing and implementing the Jockey Club Youth Para Sports Development Programme. The appointed incumbent will be given a three-year contract from 1 November 2025 to 31 October 2028.
 

Major Responsibilities

  • Implement the Youth Para Sports Development Programme

  • Liaise closely with the special schools, NGOs, community organizations to implement the works related to the Programme

  • Handle and keep proper records of expenses for the Programme, and prepare progress reports on a regular basis

  • Review the effectiveness and the operation of the Programme

  • Take up any other duties as assigned by the senior managementr
     

Requirement

  • University degree, Sports/Sports Science/Physical Education/Recreation Management or related disciplines is an advantage

  • A minimum of 4 years’ working experience is preferred

  • Working experience with physical disabled person is preferable

  • A team player with passion and willingness to learn new scope of knowledge

  • Able to work under pressure and strong forward planning skills

  • Good inter-personal and communication skills

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Strong passion in sports industry and knowledge and experience in Para sports will be a definite advantage
     

Benefits

Salary will depend on qualifications and related work experience.  Annual leave, Mandatory Provident Fund, and medical insurance will be provided.
