The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is responsible for the provision of desirable services for students of the University and enhancing their learning experience.  The successful candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to fostering whole-person development and a vibrant campus life of students.
 
Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Student-Athlete Learning Support Admission Scheme, including applications, selections, and offers to orientation

  • Coordinate with various units to provide learning accommodation for student-athletes from admission through to graduation

  • Assist in the publicity campaign for student-athletes

  • Provide support in sports events, manage sports team data and competition applications, and track sports equipment inventory

  • Take up the role of a team manager for assigned sports teams

  • Handle daily administrative tasks

  • Serve as a representative of the University on relevant committees or task forces in the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China (USFHK) when necessary

  • Work outside normal office hours and on weekends, if necessary

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

Requirements

  • A recognised bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or relevant disciplines

  • At least two years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions or similar organisations

  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

  • A strong sense of self-motivation, responsibility and teamwork relation

  • A strong mastery of interpersonal, multi-tasking and communication skills

  • A good knowledge and proficiency in the latest software applications relevant to the job

Candidates with less/more experience will be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.

Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits and mandatory provident fund. Appointment will be made on a contract basis for up to 5 months.
