We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Officer (Sports Development). Reporting to the Head (Sports Development), the appointee will support the team in providing instruction, teaching and administrative support for sports and physical education services for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruction and Program Development: teach and deliver the fitness, sports skills, personal enrichment, and wellness classes. Organizing student development programs including intramural sports competitions, sports events management workshops and sports leaderships experiential activities.

  • Student Engagement: advise sports leaders to promote sports participation, facilitate sports voluntary services and coach sports teams. Support the team to provide professional assistance to student-athletes.

  • Administrative Support: Assist in sports facilities management and handle other relevant duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • A recognized degree in physical education, sports, or related studies.

  • At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in teaching, coaching, and/or organizing sports activities in the educational setting.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.

  • Positive attitude and the ability to effectively interact with people from diverse backgrounds.

  • Ability to work independently, responsive, and a good team player with a keen interest in working with students.

  • Willingness to work outside normal office hours.
