Job Description
Our team is looking for proactive, outgoing and passionate leader to lead a small team at one of our locations across Hong Kong. Matching you with your passion sport, you will be actively leading a small team of part-time and full-time associates to promote your passion sport, managing your product line, and better advising sports users on the different products to match their experience.
The role will be ideal for someone who thrives in a flat structure organisation, where your voice will be heard, and someone striving to be entrepreneurial, as at Decathlon, we believe in people and provide amazing opportunities for our team. You will be given opportunities to make adjustments, changes or improvements, giving you ownership of your section within one of our stores.

Goals and Objectives:
-Guarantee the best in-store experience and service for our sport users
-Drive and educate new and existing sport users on the best products to match their requirements
-Manage the Profit and Loss of your product range
-Empower, develop, train and manage a small team of part-time and full-time teammates
-Develop and manage your section in store, planning, managing and developing the visual merchandising strategies and best practices

Role and Responsibilities: Business, Operations, Customer Service:
-Manage your sport department and product line inside your allocated store, running it like a small business
-Make decisions to boost performance of products and in-store experience, led by a data-driven analysis and approach
-Be efficient, actively plan and set working hours to maintain a high level of sales and achieve sales targets
-Ensure that your products are fully available, and replenish when required
-Ensure that your customers are always delighted with the service level they receive within your department
-Work alongside different departments to ensure high quality visual merchandising according to decathlon standards.

Team management:
-Participate in recruitment, train and develop your teammates for their future at Decathlon
-Manage the rostering and scheduling for your part-time, and full-timers
-Ensure your teammates are satisfied and challenged, working in your team
-Conduct monthly individual meetings to keep track on your teammates projects, and give feedback on performances
-Ensure your department is safe for your team and your customers
-Empower your team by sharing challenges and responsibilities

Take on different Local Sport Project:
-Co-lead the business strategy for your sport at the city level working hand hand with your colleagues, peers and your city sport team leaders
-Take part in planning and executing commercial and marketing strategies
-Develop a long term approach to the development of your sport in Hong Kong, and implement locally in your store

Experience and Requirements:
-You are passionate about sports and have strong wish to spread and promote this practice across Hong Kong
-You possess strong leadership abilities, prior experience managing a team is highly preferable.
-Experience in a customer facing, sales or service capacity. Retail or Startup experience is an advantage
-You have a “can do” attitude and not afraid of facing challenges
-You can deal with complicated coordination with multiple parties in a network organisation
-You are a problem solver and can come up with creative ideas to tackle issues you face

- Fluency in English and Cantonese, Mandarin is a plus
- Immediately available highly preferred
- Candidates may also be considered for Omni Sport Leader or Senior Omni Sport Leader
